Smash Bros last outsold a MK back on GC I think. I don't see it outselling MK8 lifetime

I think it will sell more hardware, but it won't sell more software than MK8.

I don't think so, only time smash ever outsold MK was with melee, and that was because it was out longer. It will do better first month because of the holiday boost but I don't think it will do better lifetime, though I don't think the gap will be as big as MKWii and Brawl

Smash coming also on 3DS...

Smash on GC have outsold Mario Kart DD, but only by 80K, Mario Kart Wii have outsold Brawl by 20 million...

So, for me is impossible.

If we are talking about LT sales, then MK8 will definitely sell more than Smash!

Difficult to call. It depends on how successful the 3DS/Wii U tandem approach goes. If it was Wii U only, I'd guess that MK8 will sell more. But MK8 versus SSB 3DS+Wii U? I don't know.

I don't think it will. There's the chance, but MK is a more popular series.

They will likely come close, still I'd say MK8 will win. Holiday sales are going to be impressive for both.

I will go with Yes. There have been 3 Mario Karts since there has been a Smash. Also WiiU reminds me of GC sales wise and Melee beat Double Dash (I think)
