For me most excited anime this season is probably Steins;Gate 0 closely followed by Persona 5. Will also watch Tokyo Ghoul:re and SAO:GGO as well as Darling in the franxx which I started last season.

Ignoring the backlog, besides the needed.

I will eventually watch:

Hinamatsuri
Tokyo ghoul (all seasons)
Stein's Gate 0
Highschool DxD hero
MHA
Kakurio
Golden Kamuy
Dances with Dragons
Black Clover (all seasons)
Basilisk: The Ouka ninja scrolls
Darling in the Franxx (all seasons)

I might watch the others, but this is what I am excited for this season. However, of course I am watching my backlog first, probably won't start this stuff until around July haha.

I plan soon to watch

The Ancient Magus' Bride
Net-Juu no Sume
Kino no Tabi
Code Realize
Urahara
Imouto Sae Ireba Ii
Aico Incarnation

And a few more maybes like Animegataris, Konohana, Blood blockade, Garo.

Nice list, you should watch Mahou Shoujo Ore it has the most legit synopsis this season!

Damn, second cour premieres for Shokugeki and DarFranxx were amazing.

New Shokugeki OP/ED are fantastic, and I love the little touch of Erina looking at Souma and smiling. Lots of spoilers...maybe this season will go farther than I expect. Hopefully they don't rush too much. Of course, the episode itself was fantastic...Erina-sama is finally back!!!

DarFranxx might have had its strongest episode yet, holy Mao that was intense. The final part with 02 looking back in shock was so powerful, I loved seeing everything come together like that.

This is honestly one of the strongest seasons I've had in a while...hopefully it keeps up!

Apparently someone looked at Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku and said to himself: "Hm, this torture porn does not have enough torture".

Okay so I watched Children of the Whales and Net-Juu no Susume.

So for Children of the Whales by the title it seems like it would be less violent than say an anime like Sword Gai. But you would be completely wrong, Children of the Whales has quite a bit more brutality and even much better action scenes than Sword Gai. It was suprisingly good an gives me such a hard JRPG/ FFXII vibe. Kinda noobish at first, surrounded by sand and then the empire comes and destroys everything. The MC even gets a movable ship with a new item after beating the boss haha. The children killing the pink hair dude was great, only for him to live. Quite disappointing. I really like the BA characters and the worldbuilding. The OP was okay, but first skippable OP in awhile. The ED was pretty good.

Net-Juu no Susume a completely different anime in tone. This show was quite funny at times, and also cutesy with its romance. I don't really like how fate works in shows like these. I mean for real 3 times? Still very satisfying, and also fun to have a female MC. Originally I thought the OP was meh and planned to skip it, but I just kept hearing that riff in my head. And it has now become some sort of obsession especially when the riff is combined with the drums. Each episode watched was a reward to listen to it again, and I promised myself as I finished the show I would listen to the full song. And oh man its even better.

What the heck? Pretty Derby is really good. I didn't see that coming at all.

Piano Forest ep. 1 was also good. I've heard a lot about the manga so I'm not surprised. Rei-chan is already my favorite.

The fate thing was definitely overdone, it felt kind of unnatural to me. I'm surprised they didn't go all in and make them childhood friends too. I suppose as a 'modern fairy tale', it works, so I guess I didn't mind.

The MC was pretty funny, though the main boy's senpai was my spirit animal. I remember laughing as he randomly started watching TV in a middle of their group gaming session. XD

----------------

Hinamatsuri seems pretty good, the premise is funny and I like the Yakuza dad. Curious what direction it'll go though...it seems so random.

Also tried Comic Girls tonight. First episode didn't really do much for me. Most of the jokes fell kinda flat...and other than the shoujo girl I can't say I care much about the main cast right now. Main girl in particular just felt kind of annoying. I'll give it another episode or two to see if I get attached to it, I did like the random Zoro reference. Maybe I was just spoiled by Yuru Camp last season, my bar for Cute Girls Doing XX Hobby anime has been raised.

With that, I think I have my seasonal list fleshed out. Woo hoo!

Guess I'll sign up for that vrv service for tokyo ghoul re and cancel crunchyroll. I never looked at it.

I looked it and it's not what I thought it was. Guess I'll be subbing to funimation til tokyo ghoul re is done.

Too bad Uma Musume is just trash. Could've been something cool. The first Gun Gale Ep was also pretty hard to watch.

At least there is Amanchu I guess.
