I used to watch him, but I find his ramblings long and boring after a while, sometimes he's right, other times he's very wrong... I did not watch him in a while, so I can't be specific... honestly, it may be that I don't think there is much to learn from him, it feels like he reads neogaf and repeat some of the opinions there.

Also, I got the feeling he got caught in the cloud/secret sauce and gave some credibility to stupid rumors about a secret second GPU in the XB1, which makes no sense to anyone with any tecnical background worth its salt, so he lost a lot of credibility there.

Maybe I know too much at this point, others may find his views insightful.

On the hardware side, he has some good discussion points. On the subject of software or business, or heaven forbid so-called "news", he's worthless. He's not particularly funny, or particularly insightful.

I find him utterly boring as he whines too much. Give me AngryJoe, Vaatvidya or ENB.

He's okay. There are some things he has done that I have not approved.

i actually love RTU. i watch his videos usually right as he posts them. i never disagree too much with what he has to say. id say we are 90% of the time on the same page

What about that time he said PSN and XBL were gonna be down for like months after the consoles launched because they had to redo the entire online because they were built around DRM and see-saw helmets?

*edit* I was wrong about the see-saw helmets.  Napkin jackets, perhaps?

dude i actually remember that haha. yeah there was like a rumor or something that their online was going to be in shambles because of the DRM. totally forgot about that. you know, whenever RTU says something like that, he always makes sure that the audience knows that theyre just rumors, not confirmed, speculation, and stuff like that.

haha. it was actually a rubber whistle hat and a six ounce pouch of squirrel powder :P (items from the new episode that comes out tomorrow) ;)

He kept saying his "source" that was so close to the industry that he can't even say if they were male or female because it was such classified information and he didn't want them in trouble, though.  Yeah, it was a rumor (that he probably made up, himself) but he tried pretty damn hard to present it as fact. Turned out it wasn't even remotely true....though XBL has been kinda shitty since the XBO launch.

yeah.. MOST of the time though.. he is very good about rumors, but i do remember that. his source was so close to the industry. he hasnt had any other huge mistakes like that has he?
