Oh boy this game has really done. When this remastered got announced a lot of the hate for the GOTG, no not titanfall, TLoU came back. We knew fans of the other two consoles did not like TLoU, and they did everything possible to downplay every single achievement this game achieved. Countless GOTY awards were downplayed with critics are not harsh these days.''It is just another zombie'' game was shouted countless times. ''The AI is terrible'' was exclaimed. ''It s the best movie I have seen'' was screamed. A lot of false statements were made during the release of TLoU on PS3. 

However, all of this was not enough for the game. When TLoU:R was officialy announced fans tried to use the same tactics to downplay it but failed miserably. And then the price was announced, a gift sent from the heavens from Iwata and Spencer themselves, and this was it. The perfect reason to hate on the GOTG once again. These fans clung onto this $50 price tag to downplay on the last of us, completely forgeting that TLoU is still sold at $30 and the DLC/season pass is at $20, but most importantly they completely forgot that they are not buying this game or have the system to play it on. 

A lot of TLoU threads were made this month, I saw about 6, by PS fans which were excited to get to experience this masterpiece again but this time enhanced. This happiness and excitement was not to be taken lightly by MS and mainly Nintendo fans. These fans started to flood TLoU threads and try to do their best to derail every single thread that was made. In some cases they succeeded but when PS fans caught onto this trend  they started to fail miserably. 

Today scores for the GOTG started to show up. And the story continues......

I don't think it's salt, I think it's genuine pain. It appears that enthusiasm for anything related to a console they don't have, is taken as a direct attack on their console. It's such a weird and yet entertaining reaction.

Love the title you made. Game is also still awesome.

Yeah, this thread can only end badly and antagonize other users. Don't see any good conversation coming out of this so going to nip it in the bud early, so locking.

Yeah, it cant be that people think its a cheap way for Sony to make quick buck or that the people who bought the PS4 wants new games or that PS3 owners who bought the game should get a discount.

Nope. They are all haters from the WiiU and XB1 camp that are jealous because they cant have the game on their console.

That's a pretty spot on take on it. I probably have done similar things as well, but thinking on it, it's like we can't have anything nice unless we get a piece of it.

OT: People say that "remastering" games this quickly is detremental to the industry or shows a company has no games, but if there is demand for it, why not? It's really that simple.
