Forums - Gaming Discussion - EA delays Battlefield: Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition

Won't that mean they basically have nothing for the year aside from their sports games and the already-released Titanfall?

Well they have or are doing five sports games for 2014 (UFC, Madden, FIFA, NBA Live, and NHL), Titanfall, PvZ: Garden Warfare was released on Sony platforms, Sims 4 is coming, and Dragon Age.

So still a pretty busy year for them.

Wow, that's actually good news. Now hopefully Battlefield won't be a broken game. And Q1 2015 is getting some good games.

Yeah, Q1 2015 is really starting to shape up nicely:

Confirmed
Witcher 3
Dying Light
The Order: 1886
Battlefield: Hardline

Possible
Splatoon
Yoshi's Wooly World

Rumored
Batman Arkham Knight
Final Fantasy XV

Yeah its looking pretty good. Usually that time of year doesn't get many games.

Well as much as I hate to admit it I really doubt FFXV would release that early in 2015.

Don't care for BF... But god, it sucks for D:I :(

Probably not, but who knows, maybe they'll show it at TGS or Gamescom and announce Q1 2015, but if that does happen, it might just be Japan, with releases in the rest of the world later in 2015.

I wish. Better than nothing in all honesty. Do we have any idea when Type-0 is supposed to release or did they just announce it coming to PS4 and XBO?

Sucks for DA. Guess my bet's off, lol!
Hopefully EA does this delay right.

I think they just said it was coming to PS4 and XBO. I doubt it's 2014, so probably sometime in 2015. As much as I want Type-0 HD, I hope that Square doesn't use it as an excuse to delay FF XV into 2016.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do

With all the shit that went down with BF4 a delay for Hardline is welcome and atleast DA is still coming out this year

Quantum Break is a possibility

So, it's going to be three years and a half since DA2. I hope that ammounts to something.
