It's more ridicolous that the PS4 doesn't have 3D Blu-Ray still.  Since it's Sony's format. The reason it bothered me with the X1 was that hey touted as the center of my home entertainment center, but I had to keep my PS3 there for 3D.

MS has to catch up. Its how it always goes between MS and Sony.

The part I was thinking about adding but decided not to was "People were making fun of the Xbox One for not having 3D support....when the PS4 didn't have it, either."

MS watches Sony like a hawk. If Sony is winning they will try to replicate as many entertainment attributes as possible, just as Sony did with watching Xbox Live and making PSN what it is today.

MS watches Sony like a hawk. If Sony is winning they will try to replicate as many entertainment attributes as possible, just as Sony did with watching Xbox Live and making PSN what it is today.

You seem to be missing the point that the PS4 does NOT support 3D Blu-Ray..  it's not replicating anything..    PS4 doesn't have it..

Yes. Exactly this! LOL.   It makes no sense that they don't support it. They have said its coming. Since last year.. still nothing.

Makes sense. Its not like it wasn't predictable that MS is better at system updates though. Sony will get there, but they wont out perform MS when it comes to that stuff. Better MS supports some form of format than trying to wipeout Blu Ray like they did last gen.

Thanks, this thread about a nice update from MS really needed some negativity and someone to remind us that Sony rules and MS drools. Thanks. Please bump when PS4 has these type of features and 3D BR support.
