Around the Network

watching it as I type this....

Yep just makes me want to play the game again...and hell purchase it again.

yup, thats what started the whole comparison thread.. ive spent alot of time playing the game and have beat it 8 times. it looks better and i am happy with what i have seen, and i cant wait to see more. people can whine all they want about not being able to see anything, but its exactly in line with what i expected.

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

"Hes the clown that makes the dark side fun.. Torgo!"

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

inb4 people complain of no difference.
people have to understand the target audience for this game is mostly the people that bought a ps4 that don't ahve a ps3. which sony has said is like 47% of current owners.

The main differences I can see are

Lighting looks improved

Textures have been slightly updated for sure

Resolution is a huge difference

and obviously 60fps will be a big difference.  Overall a nice remaster but nothing earth shattering which is fine. The game was damn amazing as is and this updated version will be awesome to play through.

Least the title of this thread is much better! I do wish there was more change though. Like if you look at WW vs WWHD or Halo 2 vs Halo 2 in the Master Chief Collection, the differences there are night and day, not so much here but I guess it makes sense for a less than a year old port (basically). Great for new players, quick cash grab for old

"So i'm still confused as to whether the cutscenes that were pre-rendered on ps3 are going to be real time on ps4 or not. We've seen additional objects and pop ins that weren't there before, as well as different physics. Theoretically that should mean real time. It doesn't entirely remove the possibility of pre-rendered though, i don't think ND has told us anything
And a good example of the benefit of 1080p would be how the snow is a lot more noticeable in her jacket, or how easier it is to see what's in the distance (less blurry and foggy). And this is just on a (was) pre-rendered cutscene, [which were "supposed" to stay untouched barring the res and framerate bump]"

Just out of curiosity, why do you play a game 8 times in such a short time?
I normally play through a game and either never touch it again or replay it after like 3-5 years when i forgot most about it!
