So, no reason at all?

And the trailer speaks for itself.

Yeah... That obviously translates to no reason at at, for you.

I know that for you, "I prefer this over that" equals "what I prefer is much better in everything", but you have to be blind to see better texture work in the bottom picture. The new Zelda U Link barely has any texture work at all. Most of what you see there is acomplished using very good [read: exceptional] cell shading. What little textures it uses are very simplistic. And that's coming from a guy who much prefers the direction Nintendo is taking with this new art style, over the tech demo.

the tech demo's textures are good but still kinda blurry, unlike the game. also, link's model isn't the only thing using textures. what do you say of the enviroments and enemy? it's also better modeled and everything.

Both look great but the actual game is simply superior.

The tech demo's textures aren't blurry. This is only due to the quality of the captures. Look into some pictures from the new game where you see the environment. The textures are blurry, even when you watch them from direct feed shots. This is a style choice, probably for various reasons, including the need to keep the performance in check. No matter how much the new look pleases you more, the actual game is simply not on the same level as the tech demo, detail-wise.  -__-

That tech demo looks way too shiny. Even worse than GoW 3. The characters are indeed more detailed in the tech demo, but you can't say the same about the environments.

Well, yeah, I can say they are, because they are. The scale is bigger in the new game, though. Giving the impression that it is more detailed.

What gives the impression that it's more detailed is the simple fact that it is more detailed. The tech demo looks awful with a real bland artstyle.

Making something shiny doesn't mean it looks good. You know what they say about apes and golden rings right?

Al draagt een aap een gouden ring, het is en blijft een lelijk ding.

that's what I've been saying, the game is on a higher level than the demo.

You misinterpreted Hynad's post ...

What you think: The actual game is more detailed.

What Hynad thinks: The 2011 tech demo is more detailed.

#FAIL

Screw you and your realistic graphics. I play games for fun, not visual fidelity.

You're from the same tree as Zero999. xD

Elaborate now on what you believe makes the new Zelda more detailed than the tech demo. You mention that you prefer the new style, insult me by telling me it's all because of the reflexions and shiny materials that I believe otherwise (but it's not because of that ^_-), but you have yet to contribute anything of any substance (as per your usual). So enlighten me for a change. And please, go into in-depth details, if it's at all possible for you.  =)

I am sure it will have the best of Wii U graphics. Zelda games make the best of graphics of every console! I am really confident about it!
