Ok, for one price drop this is bad week, and it is useless to deny it, look the 3DS, 364,000 the week of price drop, and before have sold 40,000 (+800%)

But only for this reason i don't think that XBOX ONE is doomed...

1) XBOX ONE is coming only in 13 countries.

It's true, the new countries is small, or not suitable for console ecc, but i think that minimum XBOX 360 have sold 10% of the total number (80,000,000-8,000,000)

So, if XBOX ONE was out in all countries, they sell +8/9 %, so one total of +5,000,000.

2) Like Wii U have sold much good with Mario Kart 8, much people forget, or pretend to forget that for XBOX ONE will coming Halo... and not only: Quantum Break, Master Chief Collection, one new Gears, and also some multiplatform games, that don't greatly increase, but helping XBOX ONE to sell good.

This is my prediction: XBOX ONE will sell much good this chrismas with Master Chief collection, Destiny, Assassin's Creed Unity, and more, thay continue to sell bad on Genuary, and when coming Halo 5, XBOX ONE will sell good for rest of life.

Also, add that some user have said that XBOX ONE sell less of GameCube lifetime (-22,000,000?).

IMHO i predict 50,000,000 of XBOX ONE, in the worst case scenario 40,000,000 that is a good number.

Xbox One will be fine as long as microsoft injects money into it. Right now the console is still finding its identity - once it can clearly differentiate itself from the PS4 - it should be a success. Hopefully...

It was once, the changes have made the X1 a clone of the PS4. It's almost a straight shoot out now between the two. I guess it will come down to the games and with multi's upto now being mostly better on the PS4 it will be the exclusives that will really differentiate the consoles from each other.

I have been singing the doom song for many months now.

That's its problem right now. Not much difference between the two - with the ps4 ahead with perception that it is a more powerful system and the promise of strong 1st party support from Sony. Microsoft needs a stronger pool of 1st party exclusives, which is the point you made at the end.

Microsoft has it within itself to pull it off. Now it is a waiting game whether they will do it.

Yep, I think MS has the desire now to go head to head with Sony as regards exclusives. It's going to get interesting in the years to come, best thing about that is the gamer wins :) 

1-Those country won't buy more then 5 millions Xbox by the end of generation number will still awful
2-Halo 5 will not help X1 much more then how Mario Kart help Wii u and i fear that multi-platform won't help X1 a lot just like Watch dogs didn't help X1 a lot
I agree with you X1 will outsell GameCube

I agree with yoyu, Halo and MCC will do lots for XB1 - many people and I mean people that buys consoles are waiting for those... those two games alone will help XB1 much more than what SM3DW and MK8 did for WiiU!

Ofcourse its not doomed. People can be so dramatic...
