They are making a new R&C :p Sony were a bit confusing at E3 about it, but insomniac have said it's essentially a reboot. It follows the new origin story and will have updated gameplay (so will reflect on the improvements the series has made since the first), as well as PS4 visuals of course.

It seems to be an entirely new game rather than a simple remake (which is what the reveal made it feel like).

...Do not fuck with my heart. I thought it was only a movie!!!

No, Insomniac is working on a new R&C game for PS4 that will probably release alongside the movie but I'm not entirely sure.

Ops... heres the full trailer.

Yeah, that looks even better than I imagined it lol. I'm not sure if you posted two videos or not though. I can only see the top one. I didn't expect to like the setting as much as I do. I hope you can switch weapons.

yeah i kind of posted two videos but it doesnt matter because the video that you qouted which is like 1:41 minutes long is the full trailer, and the other one was like 30 seconds of the same trailer, anyway keep in mind that Graphicly the game looks much better now, we know this because of some leaked gameplay of a closed doors demo on E3 2014 and this trailer was gonna be for TGS 2013.

to answer your question: yes you can switch weapons and some weapons will have some transformation options that changes how the weapon works so a fast weapon can suddenly become a slow but heavy hitting weapon etc.

1.  It's a "limited edition" version, so yes, it's probably only going to be available with the bundle.

2. Yes, "No Man's Sky" is "Coming First" to PS4...but will also eventually make it's way to PC.  No Xbox version has been announced yet, but they aren't limited by Sony in any way, shape or form from releasing on that console as well.

Well I was more asking if it required PS Plus. The answer seems to be a unanimous no though.

3. "AAA" games?  There are plenty coming...Batman, Arkham Knight in February (supposedly), Evolve (the one where one player plays the monster and 4 other players hunt the one guy down...looks fun!), out later this year.  Metal Gear Solid V looks amazing, if you are into that series...also due later this year.  Assassins Creed Unity looks pretty amazing too.  Bottom line...if you are into 3rd party "AAA" titles, the PS4 is the place to play them.  ALL of these games will look and PLAY better on the PS4.

I don't think Evolve can be played withought PS+. I thought MGS V was out next year? I'm not really into the series. I don't hate it. I just never played it, and I generally don't really prefer stealth games. Also, I've heard a lot about the franchises dependance on cutscenes. I'm the kind of guy who thought TLOU was mediocre, so if it's anything like that, I may pass. However, my best friend loves MGS and bought the $30 demo thing, so I may try that to test the waters. I've bean pleasantly surprised before.

3b.  Don't count out the "indies"!  There are some AMAZING experiences to enjoy with the "smaller" titles.  I really enjoy playing "Transistor" right now...and I will be getting "Minecraft" when it releases...I am also looking forward to the re-release (remaster?) of "Another World" tomorrow as well as several others!  Will ALL of these games appeal to you?  Probably not...but I would be VERY surprised if NONE of them did!

I'm not counting out indies. I love them, but indies are nothing more than little bonuses to me. I would never buy a console based on indie support.

3c.  I would HIGHLY recommend PS+.  Not only will it give you the ability to play multiplayer games...but you will also get 2 free games a month!  I subscribed about 8 months ago...and now I have more games that I have time to play!  (I also own a Vita and a PS3...I get free games on all consoles with ONE subscription).

I'm not sold. It's like a rental service, but the selection is limited, and it's tied to online as an insentive to buy it. I don't like that. Not for me.

In short, there is a LOT going on with the platform...but the decision to pony up the cash is yours and yours alone.  I don't think you will be disappointed with your purchase...BUT no one except you will really care if you get one or not.  It's important that YOU see value in your purchase...if you think you will enjoy playing these games in the best possible quality (short of a $1500 gaming PC), then get one...if not, then don't.  In any case, have FUN shopping and checking out the great games coming out!

It's a breath of fresh are that you were able to voice your opinions in a positive and non condesending way! Thanks lol. To me, being able to play all these 3rd party games is enough of a reason to get a PS4 lol. The question is more if than when.

I don't think we need to convince you, when you've blatantly convinced yourself you don't want one already.

Wanting a PS4 because it's white and glossy isn't a good enough reason, assuming you aren't being sarcastic or trying to prove a point here.

...Did you read anything I wrote other than what you wanted to hear? Jesus.

I don't really care how it looks graphically, so no issue there. I'm not really a fan of the artstyle lol but I don't care because it looks really fun to play.

1. I doubt it. It is most likely going to be limited.

2. I believe No Man's Sky is not considered a free to play game. Currently only free to play games can be played online without PS+. So I don't think you will be able to play it online.

3. MGS5: Phantom Pain,

1. The white PS4 is most likely limited, as PS3 special editions were also always limited (except for Japan I think).

2. Depends if there will be an offline mode.

3. I won't try to convince you as I don't care if you're getting a PS4 or not. :P

Question 3 wasn't about convincing me. It asked what games are coming out.

I mean dozens of games are coing out.  I recommend Destiny, LBP3, and Bloodborne.

Nope, insomniac are working on a full new game :D. Members of the original R&C1 team will be working on the project too!

It's expected to release in the first half of 2015.

If that's true, you just gave me my second must have game on the PS4, I'm not even joking. Have they released any gameplay, or if it just confirmed for now?

3. MGS5: Phantom Pain,

I thought it was free to play and MMO's, which is why I was confused. It isn't really a traditional MMO, but it's single player campaign is largely dependant on online, so it's hard to peg it as strictly single player. Same with Destiny. I may be getting it confused with XBL though, as I think Titanfall doesn't require a subscription. But I thought that FF14 didn't require PS+ either lol. I'm not sure.
