Wondering if anyone is interested in this, I started using this program and it's really nice, a lot of supported games for xbox1,xbox360,ps2,ps3,psp (compatibility list on Xlink KAI official webpage)

I have ps2,ps3,psp, anyone interested? More gamers=more fun!

(connect console to pc, pc runs xlink kai, enter room an play)

You don't even need a wireless adapter for PSP, using a plugin named adhoctousb any usb cable does the trick.

Please let me know if you are interested, I would like to play more with this method.

Side note: Nintendo DS will never be compatible with this system.

I used to play via Xlink Kai back in the days, some PSP games that only had Ad-hoc mode. Hell a couple of us even managed to make Gun: SHowdown matches with the help of some admins. It was fun, but I rarely play online games anymore, and when I do I usually play on official servers . Sorry m8 :-??

I hate when they close official servers (Resistance anyone?) So I would like to try being indipendent from them.

I know the feeling, but I simply dont have that ammount of time anymore, to be able to play the same game for years. Whenever I play online, these days, I usually end up putting in a couple of hours for a game I just purchased.

But if you have little time, why buying new games? I stopped buying ps3 games, just getting ps plus ones and doesn't even have time to start them all.

Don't forget DS. It's online services were taken down recently, plus there's a lot of adhoc only games.

Depending on the game I'd play using the DS or the PSP.

I didn't read until now that Kai supported the DS, would you like to play sometime with PSP?

please please please! I played today a bit on kai for the first time and the connection was too good, so much fun!

What games?

just examples: Coded Arms, MHFU, MGS Portable OPS plus, Dissidia Final Fantasy, Warhammer 40k squad command, GT Portable, GTA, Phantasy Star Portable 2 (months ago I checked and the official servers were still up), just tell what games should I get, they are cheap now, it won't be a big problem for me to find a used copy. I'm also willing to start games/series I never played if you really want.
I tried today MHFU because someone was playing it at the moment (other rooms have little population), worked very well for me.

edit: Metal gear ACID 2 is nice too for me.

If you have Dissidia Duodecim I'll play that.  There's always adhoc party on the PS3 if you have the console.  Adhoc party works well, although the Japanese version is better.
