Idk if you're being sarcastic..... u probably are... but i'm pretty fucking sure PS4 is going to win this generation. So I probably won't have many Wii U vs PS4 threads unless Wii U starts catching up which probably won't happen.

It really could. All depand's how badly PS4 whoops X1s ass. Wiiu can scrape by as a secondary console, X1 really cant.

But i have no faith in ninty doing what needs to be done.

Finally its a competition for second place and it will be a close fight just like 6th and 7th generation fights between GameCube and Xbox in 6th gen. and PS3 and XBox 360 in 7th gen. The Wii U is back on track despite its slow start. Wii U will do well if it can reach 50 million consoles sold. XBox One will struggle to sell 50 million this generation. Second and third places will struggle to sell combined 100 million sales. 7th generation was a lot longer than previous generations. 7 to 8 years between the 7th gen and 8th generation systems. 5 to 6 years a new generation gets under way. 7th generation resulted in a combined sales of 265+ million with ranges between 82 to 101 million sales on three systems.

Look the only way I could see this happening is if Nintendo revamps its online interface and drops the price of its console to $200 or lower with a slew of great games.  Then MS would also have to continue to fumble around and refuse to lower its price.

In this scenario the PS4 would continue to pummel the X1 since they are competing for the exact same market (While PS4 has every advantage in that market), and the Wii U would be positioned as a low-cost/family-friendly alternative.  Maybe then, but just barely...  It would cetainly make me happy!



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

It could happen, maybe not during gen as you say but by 2020-2022, i mean PS3 wil clearly outlast 360 and I can see the same happening with the Wii U, yeah there's a chance.

That's impossible, even if you think it's doomed. Even the Original Xbox outsold Gamecube with ~24 million units sold, and that was with 5 years of sales. GameCube have sold more even of XBOX ONE.

In 2015 Wii U sell more that in 2014, and XBOX ONE will reach peak in 2015, maximum 2016.

Are you saying I predicted PS4 will sell 170million? If you say that when the fuck did I say that. PS4 will sell just a little over Wii in my opioin. Something like 105m-110m.
