Watching Sony's E3 (other then Uncharted 4) this was a big jaw droping moment for me. This is insane to wrap your head around being able to fly thoughout the universe and jump into any random planets it looks incredible.

My only problem would be the purpose of the game. Are there goals, will there be hidden treasures on some planets or upgrades or missions?

Either way I'm keeping an eye on this, looks amazing. Paired up with Morpheus and I think we have a seller for VR.

That's what I mean. The trailer just showed him walking on a planet then jumped into his ship flew in space and shot at some ships then landed on another planet, didn't really give any details if there's anything beyond that.

Eh. Maybe. Depends on a lot of things. The problem with procedurally generated content is that after awhile things start to look alike. The elements are the same, they're just jammed together in different ways. Sometimes they don't even mesh well. Perhaps Hello Games has gotten around that but I'll have to be convinced. I've never been a fan of procedural generation in dungeons, for example.
