When you've already been permabanned? You can't come back when you're banned; it defeats the point.

It means the site has less users, hence the value of the site is lower. Bad for business.

theoretically when a user is perma banned a new account isn't an alt anymore, and ideally should be judged upon his new posts if he goes the same way as the orginal go ahead and perma ban hi/her

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Disagree. Getting permabanned isn't easy you know.

And if you go all the way to a permaban, you've blown enough chances and have been such a menace to the community that, frankly, we're better off without them. A permaban is for the user; not the account. So alts when tracked down will be immediately purged.

Actually, I'm one step away from a perma ban, and that is based on stuff i did years ago, so i disagree on the fact that it's not easy and then im not even talking about new users who are even more harsly judged.

In that case, I'm really wondering if there is a chance for mods to pardon someone's previous bans due to improved behaviour. I don't think so, but in a situation like yours one mistake could get you perma-banned, which doesn't seem fair.

Hey Mods :) How ya going? Just for accuracy's sake I feel I should inform you that I was also banned for one day on the 17 by Conegamer. I don't see it listed on the list, just the 3 day by Mr. Khan. So I think Conegamer actually has 53 not 52, unless it was already accounted for and simply not listed. I think I may have had one more between those two but it's not on my mod list and I am probably just mistaken because Mr. Khan gave me a 3 day ban.

I would like to take this chance to apologize to anyone I offended and to specifically Conegamer and Mr. Khan for saying things that forced them to ban me and again I apologize to those I may have insulted or offended.

As far as my ban from Conegamer goes I was far too aggressive in a string a comments with J_Allard. Even tho IMO some of my comments were hilarious it doesn't excuse the fact that I was too aggressive and I should not have called J_Allard a "diluted fanboy" no matter how much I felt he deserved it at the time, it was wrong and I was wrong. So again I am sorry about that. I have no real loyalty to platforms/consoles. The platforms whether it's PC or console or mobile device are just tools that deliver what really matters. Tho to be fair the engineers that built and designed those platforms did so with so much skill, expertise, and craftsmanship that they created an artform all their own. That's why when it comes to loyalty and fanboyness all mine goes to the engineers of the hardware and the developers that created the software. They are the real artists, they are the ones that deserve the loyalty and not the faceless corporations that hire and fire them on a whim. I'm use to calling things as I see them and I'm use to giving grief to people that show entirely too much loyalty to a brand especially when they become blinded to reality by it. I know there is a right way to address that behavior that is respectful, and a wrong way that is insulting to many. I have been accustomed to the latter and I am working on that bad habit and trying to be more respectful and less impulsive.

Mr. Khan you banned me for 3 days for insulting bronies. It was rash and uncalled for and if you or anyone felt personally insulted I apologize. About a year ago my niece and my little sister joined a MLP community on G+, my niece loved MLP so they had some fun looking at some of the pictures and videos uploaded to it. It seemed like a good community until about a month later when my little sister kept receiving perverted messages from members of the community and even received a few photos of grown men exposing themselves. She went ape shit and came to me about it and I got in contact with the moderators of the community and they basically told me there was nothing they could do since nothing occurred on the community page and even if it had it wasn't against the rules of the community and said my sister should join a more child friendly community. Here we thought a community based on a childrens show was child friendly. So I've had some really bad experiences with "bronies". I understand not everyone is like that and what I said wasn't fair. It's a hot button issue with me and I let it get to me. I'm working on that and I'll try not to let it happen again.

I'm use to forums and other social outlets with pretty lax rules. I know that's not an excuse I'm just saying I am trying and it's not exactly easy. It's like growing up in the jungle or the wild west and coming to civilized society. I've made mistakes, and I've paid for those mistakes. I may make mistakes in the future, if I do I'm sorry and please know I am really trying not to.

If the mods don't mind I have a few questions for you. Just to get to know you guys n gals and this community better.

#1. What made you want to be a mod in this community? Was it a difficult goal to accomplish?

#2.Who would you say was the most troublesome/infamous user you've ever had to deal with while you were a mod?

#3.Who was your most difficult perma-ban? The person you had the most reservations about or hardest to decide to perma-ban

#4.Who was your easiest/most favorite perma-ban?

#5. What exactly is required to get perma-banned? Sorry if there is a section that outlines that I haven't seen it yet so that's my bad.

#6.Is there anyway to erase the mistakes/black marks or what have you that pushes a person closer to perma ban? Or do we have to carry those mistakes with us for ever? Like lets say someone new makes a lot of mistakes in the beginning but then spends years being really good and contributing a lot. Can their mistakes be forgiven?

#7. Have you ever thought of or done alternative punishments? Like the teacher that made two students that were fighting hold hands all day, or the judge that made a guy who shouted racial slurs sit outside with an embarrassing sign describing his crime for a long period of time.Like for instance if someone flames one camp or insults someone in the heat of the moment instead of banning them you tell em to make a post once a day that's so many words long every day for a week that praises the person or brand they flamed. If they don't, or if there is sarcasm, or if it just doesn't feel genuine the person gets banned 3x or so longer.

#8. What has been your favorite meme you've seen in the community?

#9. If there was a zombie apocalypse or some other natural disaster and you had the power to save 5 people from the community who would they be and why?

Last question: What is your all time favorite film, animated tv show, science fiction show, video game, comic book, and song?

Thank you for reading and answering. Sorry again for my mistakes and to anyone I may have offended. I am working on it. If you see a post from me you think crosses the line or too close to the line please pm me and let me know I will change it as soon as I can and I will apologize. It's not my intent to insult anyone, just have open and honest conversation, but sometimes I make mistakes and I am trying to work on that.
