But the problem i see here is that the XBO one couldn't beat PS4 in NPD with Titanfall, Kinect and selling at the same price. So why do people suddenly feel that selling at the same price without the game and kinect will make people want to buy the console.

Do people really hate kinect that much that they will suddenly go out and buy the console now that it is a worse deal?... and I'm being serious here... what makes people think this will suddenly increase the sales of the console above and beyond what we saw with TF.

May will be ps4's with the watchdogs bundle.
June will be xbones with obvious price cut.
July could go either way with price cut vs possibly The last of us ps4 bundle.
From thereon, minus september POSSIBLY, will be xbones

Does XBox One have any exclusive software in May/June to push hardware sales? If not, I have a hard time seeing them winning June NPDs, when the PS4 still has the sales momentum.

Xbox One had Titanfall, Kinect, and a $50 price drop for the longest time and still couldn't beat the PS4. It's certainly possible, but Microsoft has an uphill battle.

May? If anything I see PS4 taking it easily.

June? That will be very interesting and X1 could take it.

You'd certainly hope so. In the short term we should see a very large sales burst (as with all prices cuts, which this essentially is to anyone who never wanted a Kinect). It's how this helps the X1 in the long run that will be interesting to see.

Again, here in my country we dont have official release of any console. We rely on importers. I hope you unerstand.

True, but you are talking about NPD ;) so that's why it was mentioned and the point still stands.

I do wonder what price they will aim it at in other countries... do we think they will drop the same amount?
