Microsoft announced today that it plans on releasing the Xbox One in China this September.

Microsoft's corporate VP of marketing and strategy for devices and studios, Yusuf Mehdi, wrote in a statement, "Launching Xbox One in China is a significant milestone for us and for the industry, and it's a step forward in our vision to deliver the best games and entertainment experiences to more fans around the world."

Now we get to see if they will bite or not! This should be interesting, I wonder if this will make any difference in sales when it releases!

Also, does this mean MS is the first one to the market or has Nintendo/Sony already released their own things in China cause I would like to know. I know they can import it but that doesnt count

This could be a good move from MS's part. I wonder what's thinking Sony and Nintendo, are they gonna wait and see how Xbox One does there? Besides, we'll see how big is the console market, considering China is dominated by pc gaming.
