Problem is even if Smash manages to push console sales to beat PS4 and XB1 for a week, the prediction is two weeks.

Hey, it's something. Nintendo needs to really stop releasing heavy hitters when the other systems have counters.

This week could be interesting. PS4's drop off could well be steeper than wii u's, making the numbers close. I wouldn't put money on it though.

Well I think it's time that the OP starts updating ...

There's zero chance that the WII U will ever outsell the PS4 in any week of this year. As long as the PS4 keeps existing it will literally continue to be the WII U's bane.

The WII U will likely fail to get any grounds against the PS4 for the rest of this year since Nintendo butchered the WII U's potential sales by further cannibalizing it with their release of Super Smash bros for 3DS which gives existing players no reason to purchase a WII U. The more darker side of this is that Smash will mostly be selling to existing WII U owners rather than new owners when a lot of forum dwellers are expecting more of the opposite.

wrong fatslob...the opposite will happen,will lure 3ds owners to wii u...!This move was deliberate ;)!Have you seen polls?all voting both or only wii u,only 3ds has few votes! you know,smash bros u is way different in a home console with HD graphics!lets see who is right ;) wii u chance to outsell ps4 for one or two weeks is pokken fighters:P As for the prediction,it happened in France and Germany with mk8 :P

How is this bad decision that was orchestrated by Nintendo supposed to help 3DS owners purchase a WII U ? If anything it gives them less reasons to purchase a WII U since buying the same game is redundant. 

Just where exactly are those polls ? What's more is that do they have a thousand samples ? Oh I know who's right but you on the other hand are in need of a correction.

Pokken fighters is due for 2015, NOT 2014! What your saying is irrelevant to this threads topic and it's not even confirmed for the WII U. I say, are you moving the goal posts ?! The point of this thread isn't where WII U outsells the PS4 in specific regions weekly but it's about WII U outselling the PS4 globally within a given week yet that hasn't happened ...

I'm nowhere near irritated as you think ... Did I defend the PS4 ? FWIW I'm not even participating in the petty console wars. 

Do you have ANY rational thought as to how the WII U is supposed to outsell the PS4 ?

the bolded and our discussion is for smash bros :P !why you are putting ps4?i said wii u chance( i forgot to put -only) to outsell ps4 for one week or more,is pokken fighters and this could happened only if ps4 wouldn t have any game release:P
