Are we really even discussing this? Now if a X1 title doesn't push consoles sales past PS4 it's considered a flop? I guess every single X1 game for the rest of this generation is going to be considered a flop.

It's fun, so whateva...plus I think it is going to keep on selling the more people are exposed to it.

It definitely wasn't a flop for EA, I do believe that the sales they lost not selling it on the PS3/4 were made up for by the extra hype and media coverage the game received due to its MS exclusivity, so that the end result for EA is around the same.
For MS though, I don't believe it was a successful investment. This is MS' big XB1 pushing exclusive for the next 3-4 months, and it has barely made an impact. MS sacrificed licensing revenue from Titanfall sales by bundling it, likely sacrificed many sales of the 360 version by focussing its marketing so heavily on the XB1 version, it needed a definite and sustained boost to the XB1 sales to make up for that, and it doesn't appeared to have happened.

^ Very true.
So much for Titanfall is the Gears of this generation
Couldn't even help Xbone take March. So unexpected
Not a flop. It did fail at achieving it's goal though. MS and it's fans should be very displeased.
For what it was supposed to be and all the hype... yes, a failure. It was supposed to be the savior of the Xbox One, and it was supposed to give Call of Duty a run for it's money.

Though I fail to see how even the most diehard Sony enthusiast could call a game selling as well as Titanfall a flop.
Then again PS4 owners always had the highest expectations for the game.
It sold a lot, so it wasn't a flop. I doubt this will help Xbox One in the long-run though.
