Good I dont like being scared in my games. I wasnt thinking of getting this but maybe ill consider it now.

Siskel and Ebert were doing it wrong....they should have reviewed trailers!

Stopped reading IGN long ago... Horror comes second to gameplay anyway.

I think that's not entirely accurate.

The best horror game I've played is the Game Cube version of Resident Evil (and it's absolutely amazing), but if you take away the oppressive feeling of dread it's just an extremely clunky 3rd person lock-on-shooter with asinine perspectives.

I guess for me horror comes second to gameplay. RE4 is up there with the best games of all time yet it wasn't really a horror game.

I don't see how anyone could be surprised

Shinji Mikami fails at horror. Always did.
And this game always looked like it was going to fail too.

Eh ... his argument didn't dissuade me, and the trailers look interesting. However, I'll still wait for more information. Atmosphere is what gets me and not how my character reacts to it.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

I'll still be getting it... I'm easily scared and just can't handle horror games, but I decided to muster up the courage and buy this lol.

PSn - greencactaur
Nintendo Switch FC - SW - 5152 - 6393 - 5140 Please feel free to add me :)

Meh, many of the characters in the first 4 Silent Hill games barely had any emotions either and they still were scary to some people. I've never been scared in any of the "horror" games I've played, I just liked having to save bullets and items, solving puzzles and "weird" atmosphere of the games. I never expected to be scared by this game. I just expect something like Resident Evil 4 with a slightly darker tone, weirder and cheesy, with some chase scenes here and there. I didn't expect a Silent Hill kind of game. Team Silent is the only one who can do something like that.

I was deciding wether to get this on PS4 or PC but I think I'll go for PC because it will look and perform better as I upgrade it and I won't have to keep a PS4 in order to be able to still play it in a few years. It should always work on any PC I have in the future, as oposed to consoles which depend on Backwards compatibility. I can play it on the TV with the DS4 so it's almost the same, lol.
