I wouldn't install a video card while the PC is running... Seriously, thats a no no... And you shouldn't need to uninstall that... Its also interesting that I Can't even find a single manual for that or any Acer motherboards... Didn't even know they even made motherboards... I am not too sure, you are booting off of the hard drive correct? Just check the boot options and make sure hard drive is #1 and try to find that secure boot thing, if that doesnt work try to find anything that says UEFI boot and disable that and if there is nothing like that, tell me what Bios it is... Like it should say on the top or the bottom

Okay so I'm at boot options and it says:

Boot Priority

1st Boot Device: EFI Device

2nd Boot Device: Hard Disk

3rd Boot Device: CD&DVD HL-DT-ST Dv

4th Removable Device

5th LAN

and at the bottom it says

EFI Device Priority  press enter

Hard Disk Drive priority press enter

and so on

Well thats interesting, EFI device is first? Try setting Hard Disk to 1st boot device and then set the EFI Device Priority to Legacy Rom

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

have you:
1) connected pcie power to the graphics card, if so are these pcie power connectors or are you using molex to pcie converters?
2) if using molex to pcie converters you may be drawing too much power away from the hdd, thus failure to boot/properly init drive will hang system
3) is there a bios mode switch on the graphics card? if so toggle it and see if it helps.
4) stick your head near pc with side off when booting, with card in, check fans on card are spinning up, listen for the hdd spinning up, disconnect any auxillery components such as optical drives and molex powered fans.
5) remove all sticks of ram, inset just one, try booting, go through each stick one at a time to eradicate the potential of bad ram
6) get a new PSU with enough pcie cables to feed the gpu, you dont need to go nuts with it, 650W one would be fine for you, if its 80 gold rated then you'll sit right in the highest efficiency bracket with that hardware anyway.

Didn't give me an option to change EFI I can just put it as priority 1-5 I put it to last so I'm gonna put in the card again and see what happens.

Oh god no, I may be new to PC hardware but I'm not crazy or stupid enough to do that. I think I phrased it wrong XD. I meant I clcked the disable button and I connected to the integrated graphics card.
And if that's not the mobo than it's the Intel B75 Express I figured you needed like a serial number or something.

did you try disabling the on board sound? just wondering if that would be whats fucking up because of the hdmi sound driver built into your new graphics card?

Thanks for reminding me, Im gonna try that next I just feel a bios situation at this point.

No bothers, I wish I could be of more assistance but my brain is fried and I'm well in need of sleep here. I hope you get it up and running mate, nothing worse than having a nice new graphics card that's refusing to play ball.

So the card is making a beeping noise it's not constant but it will do it every 30 seconds or so... Indication of a dead card or just incompatible card with my mobo?
Nevertheless I tried everything here, next best thing i guess would to email and troubleshoot with NVidia staff. I'm probably going to return the card and stick with the 7750.

Anyway thanks to Samer305, Ganon, Lucidium and Jizz Beard The Pirate.
I know it's not much but if any of you are interested I have 4 humble bundle games from about a month ago that I never used Civ 3, Civ 4, Sid Meiers Ace Patrol and another Ace Patrol.
Both ace patrols have steam trading cards so if interested just post here or pm me and I'll pm you.

No worries, The lesson here is... Acer motherboards are lame!

PS: If I were to bet, I would say its the EFI thing! Try playing with the priority cause idk, that might work

Sorry to hear it's caused you all the grief and thanks for the offer of the games, I'll stick to just owning 1 game on the PC tho and 1000s on consoles :D (WoW is more than enough when it comes to a PC game for anyone) Hope Nvidia's support can give you a bit of a help but they'll probably just stick to the rating on your psu not being high enough and could even claim that the lower rating damaged the card when you used it, could be an idea to slightly omit the wattage of the psu if you're going to be talking to people you hope to get a refund from.... or just lie and say its a 750watt psu, Imma go sleep now tho, sorry you didn't get it working and you're very welcome for any help that I gave.
