Forums - Gaming Discussion - Your Most Catastrophic Gaming Decisions

I once chose to purchase Sonic Riders (GC) over Super Smash Bros Melee. I was young and innocent, I am sorry.

What were your worst mistakes?

Also, let us keep this trolling free, pretty please.

Buying Duke Nukem Forever cause of the hype... I regret it ever since... Its like AIDS on my steam library

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Traded The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for Tom & Jerry.

Buying the LE of FF XIII.
63 fucking quid (plus shipping) for a game I hated through and through.

Wasting all my allowance in a stupid Tazmanian game for the GC...Taz Wanted...never forget...

I bought Eternal Sonata because a friend said it was good. I never regreted something as much as that gaming purchase... I hated that game with a passion. It was boring as hell and it was the only game I had for my PS3 in a whole year. I ended up selling the game last year though!

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

Traded in my entire PS2 collection, thats like 40+ games =(
Not my decision but my mum gave away my N64 collection one day when I was at school... thats costing me thousands to get back now -_-

I personally enjoyed the game,even with the outdated graphics.

WiiU

Darksiders 2....played for 2 hours....didnt like it....first one was much better

Fortunately, I never made any decisions I regreted later on.

BUT... but... my brother chose Lamborghini on N64 over F-Zero X...
