Not that I believe them...BUT if they are true, it would go along with my observations.  Titanfall will sell well for a new IP, but it's not going to boost One sales by a huge amount, like some were hoping.

I think with the Titanfall bundle, it will boost hardware for that 1 week it releases. XB1 will outsell the PS4 in USA/EU that week, but the following week InFamous will make PS4 on top, and following that it's likely to be the same old weekly sales.

Only thing is WiiU will be a bit further behind.... MARIO KART SAVE YOUR MOTHER CONSOLE!

It'll outsell the PS4 in the US and UK for that week; however, there's absolutely no way it outsells the PS4 in the EU for that week, unless it's has some kind of monstrous effect in the UK.  My own prediction for Titanfall week is 100-120k for the X1, while the PS4 should remain at 160-180k. It'll then drop week after week until it flatlines agains around 50k per week until a price cut.

Good, they had the WW numbers now. So far we have Titanfall at 570K and Infamous at 600K. Not bad at all!

It's impressive the 600k for Infamous SS, considering is coming 10 days after titan and many other pre-orders will come.   Very good for both Sony and MS.

Remember when they said the Xbox One would have the less amount of preorders? Just goes to show you that these people have no clue to what they are talking about.

Didn´t it though?

eh eh it did. Infamous has more preorders even being released 10 days after Titan.   And the number will increase in favour of Infamous.  But it doesn't matter, both games will boost PS4 and XBone.

PS4 doesn't need a boost. Infamous will sell because PS4 is selling great. MS, on the other hand, absolutely needs Titanfall to provide a sizeable and most importantly consistent boost (which isn't going to happen) because the X1 is doing pretty terrible.

I meant the Xbox One version of Titanfall. Not talking about the Xbox One console.

Hate the site even when the numbers are inline with VGC...

Doesn't look like is gonna do a lot for the One on Europe, if we can trust the US preorders here of course. But still, not bad for a new IP.

So Infamous > Titanfall after all ?

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

i agree the release of Infamous is perfectly timed to stunt the sales growth of Titanfall and the X1

I didn't say InFamous would stunt XB1's sales growth. I said that the boost PS4 gains that following week will prevent the XB1 from closing any gap at all. If anything the gap will grow in PS4's favor.

Yea, that sounds about right.  Though, I would say UK, not EU.  Not sure if the boost in UK alone could make up for the rest of EU.  But, I could be wrong.

UK does account for 50% of MS's European sales, but to be honest I don't know what's going to happen.

I'm more optimistic, I think half the Titanfall pre-orders will be to new console buyers. So I'm thinking 320k Worldwide, with 90k Europe and 230k North America.

I could be wrong though, but I don't see anything under 130k being reasonable. Even then with 130k, it would sell 30k in Europe and 100k in North America.

-----

I feel the same for InFamous, 440k Worldwide, with 190k USA, 190K Europe, and 60k Japan.

Again I could be wrong, but I don't see anything under 225k with 85k in Europe, 90k in North America, and 50k in Japan.
