Are you sure? Cause its already above 2 to 1 on weekly sales, without japan. Actually, the PS4 is ramping up to a 2 million advantage in the next weeks. I imagine that even with titanfall, the PS4 will be more than doubling the X1 overall sales before E3.

I agree OP. It will be Playstation domination this gen. Europe and Japan are completely won over. The only battle left is the US. If Xbox starts losing the multiplats, it will be all over.

I think the difference wont be as big, because im expecting overall sales to be worse this gen.

Europe and USA is the battle ground. Japan it will be fighting Vita numbers on the bad days for the Vita.

Might want to look at the context of it all as same can be clamied about you, X1 is not PS3 it has none of the advantages and benefits PS3 had.  Nor Did PS3 face such strong direct competitior as X1 is facing.  People need to get over PS3s recovery, X1 does not have similar circumstances that would make that as likely a reality.

As i have been saying and the numbers tell you, there is no battleground in europe unless Microsoft is willing to take losses. Without a lower price point than the PS4, there is no battle. Look at this weeks numbers. PS4 is outselling the X1 about 4 to 1 in europe.

Roject those numbers to the 100 million mark. It means that by each 100m PS4 sold in europe, microsoft will sell 25mil. Its telling isnt it? Of course europe doesnt sell that many consoles by itself, but add this to the even more extreme japanese situation and the only sliver of hope for Xi is the Us, where they are actually losing aswell.

As i said before, no price cut, no chance. But the current MS administration doesnt want to take losses on the Xbox. So... yeah things look grim.

Nothing stated in this post is correct haha.  Xbox One has plenty of advantages and benefits.  The obvious one is Kinect and another one would be Xbox Live.  Both of which were key to 360's success and can be a key to success for the X1 if marketed properly.  And yes PS3 faced as strong as a direct competitor as Xbox One is.  Really not even sure how this argument can actually be vocalized.  The competition of the past generation may have been the most fierce in the game industry since SNES and Genesis days.  

No in actuallity, SamuelRSmith's post may have been the most appropriate for this thread.  The main point being, let's give it more than a few months before we claim the world.

That is a gross statement. SEGA retired themselves from the business because of their past mistakes. They had their chance and blew it. Sony seized it.
