That's not really the weird thing.  
I'm not sure if it's the program thing or I don't know.  But the starting and the last number is 0.  I'm guessing it's something to do with the program needing all the values for comparision.  

But we go from 0 to a number with a slant like this / and then a slant downward to 0 like this.

The difference is that the graphs really should be [1,18) or  [1,17] when really the graph doesn't really show that, that well.

Dont take the minority of ignorant users here as a majority. Many people who are actually "in the know", so to say, on sales figures and your general NPD stuff know all about how accurate your leaks are.

noobie, youre mistaken. We dont hold onto VGChartz numbers as factual numbers. We take them for what they are. Estimations. These estimations are good enough for the likes of Sony and Square Enix, to name a couple of big gaming companies.

We ask about and debate adjustments to the estimations here based on NPD leaks from NeoGAF members. Remove yourself from your high horse.

IncandescentPrecept, Nintendo had shipped 42.74 Million 3DS systems as of 31st December. VGChartz estimations have the 3DS at 41.79 Million sold as of 28th December. The 3DS numbers for 2013 here arent exactly a problem. Remove yourself from your high horse.

Aquamarine again. See this is the problem that you GAF lot have. You call people who use the numbers ignorant, yet youre being ignorant yourself. You refuse to look beyond your old hatred of Brett and VGC in general and see what this site is actually doing. Read the (admittedly now outdated) Methodology. Look at the first sentence.

Additionally, why dont you give this a read? Ill pull out some key parts.

Look dude, if you can't see that some here are coming at me, well I can't help you with that. I'm a skeptic of leakers, right or wrong, I'm just skeptical of a lot of things. There's no need for multiple people to come at me calling me ignorant and things like that, so yeah, I'm feeling a tad defensive just for having a skeptical view of leakers. Over time, when I see they are in fact always accurate, then I'll trust them. It's just my nature to question things. Why is everyone seemingly attacking me for my stance on this? I really don't get it. I have to see things for myself, and that can only take time, as more months go by and I can see how accurate they are, not just because some call me ignorant and tell me they are accurate.

how about you guys help me here? Some one show some leaks, and the corresponding npd data, that will go along way to making me see they are trustworthy. I just have to see it to beleive it. Aren't the rest of you the same way? So please, show me some info, so I can get onboard, because it would go a long way.

and I still have doubts, but it's great that you attend their church. I really don't get why guys like you practically burst into tears when someone questions something. It's human nature to be skeptical, to question anything and everything. I don't just beleive everything some fool tells me to. When IM convinced, then I'll beleive these leakers.
