So I decided to catalog old threads with sales discussions to show the differences in predictions. To allow people to get some perspective and for us old members to feel some Nostalgia. I think it's fun for some and a learning experience for others.

Could be fun, lucky for me, I think I didn't make a lot of predictions back then...

To be fair, those old people didn't have much to go by. Gen 6 was not very representative to predict anything from it.
Then again Gen 7 will probably have nothing much in common with Gen 8. But since people already realize that Wii was a fad and recognize the strong brand of the Xbox the predictions for Gen 8 should have more perspective.

For about half a year now I've started to log all of my predictions. These things just aren't that fun if you never return to them.

I don't have any old threads for the OP, but I'll certainly keep checking this place out.

Every time I find a lifetime sales prediction, I will bump this thread up with the link. LOl

Do people want short prediction sales. I didn't think to include them because it doesn't show a large prediction and it would be a mess to try to sort out.

I have to say darth is the closest I have seen. I will keep searching but I will not bump the threads up but post them in here. Mods told me to not bump them up. So have a look and come back and talk about them in here. or copy past comments, Links Etc.. from threads in here.

If history truly does repeat itself, Nintendo should win Gen 8... But I doubt it...
