Nothing wrong here and the title is misleading.

No one is keeping people from giving it a bad review.

Nothing wrong with the title.

No one is keeping people from reading further. The fact that people might be influenced by the title itself shouldn't bother you at all.

EA doesn't block any reviews so the title is not only wrong but inflammatory.

It's an in-app feedback function that doesn't even claim to use the review scores on google play. Everyone is free to give a bad review on google play.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Wow, you really didn't see what I did, did you? Have a look back at my previous post (or just look in the quote), and think about what I said, specifically in relation to what you had said in the post I quoted.

I'm sure every company does this. But beating up on EA is what's cool now I guess. I'm no big fan of any game company save for Naughty Dog but I don't dislike any of them either.

So, inflamattory decisions, launching buggy unplayable games, turning good experiences into micro-transaction hells, buying developers and closing them down after running their IP's down with these strategies, day one story DLC (mass effect), unsupporting their sucesses after running the teams down due to internet outcry (SWTOR), etc.

Yeah, im sure theres nothing to dislike about EA. And its because of permissive customers like you that they keep doing it.

I block all EA purchases, except for Bioware wich is a company i love and the bastards bought to run down in a few years. While their games please me i will continue to buy, but everything else EA is blocked by me. After Bioware goes under, not a single dime of mine will go to EA.

Yep, it's a "feedback function" that encourages me to rate the game only if I promise I'll behave nicely. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I think they should enforce implement similar system on game journalist reviews... oh, wait.

But journalist can give a bad review, he just need to buy the game after it goes to stores (just a lot after it could have any impact) or they could rate without playing it (more common on high rates) which would be unethical.

EA... Butchering franchises, one at a time.

I see enough has been said in the thread already. Naturally, this is the lowest of lowest of moves. I sometimes cry inside thinking about how they are going to destroy Star Wars soon (why Disney, why!) after they already killed so many memories. Looking like that boycott of mine that's been going on for over a decade now isn't about to end soon !

Stop trying to reason with that guy he has proven that his is a mindless corporate shill that defends companies using underhanded business practices.

Hi! This is indeed a pretty sad move from a developer of such calibre! I never bothered to rate Dungeon Keeper on Android, but I did on iOS. However, I did regret giving it a 4/5 afterwards as I quickly lost interest and moved to Numbs, a numbers game; https://itunes.apple.com/app/id674456722 also found on the play.google.com for Android. However, I still have the Dungeon Keeper; http;//www.dungeonkeeper.com/ app in a corner of my iPad and might well get back to it any time soon!
