There are easily more than 30,000 video game selling stores worldwide (over 10,000 in the US). Considering these numbers include 2 platforms, that would mean that every store has only 1 1/2 copies of each version of Sonic Lost World.
For a new game and on top of that a Sonic game it just doesn't make sense.

Not if they can't sell it (see Nintendo shipping negative amounts in Europe a few quarters ago).

Yeah I was being way too optimistic when saying that. I also didn't know the NPD numbers.

I told people, Sonic moves slow nowadays, but gets there eventually.

Still one of the must buy games for Wii U to me. I think Sonic games in general will struggle to break 750K on any platform and Wii U's installed base makes things tricky. Also, they might aim to release one in Spring or Summer to avoid that Fall glut of releases.

I don't understand. The game didn't suck. Are you guys just going by the reviews and saying it sucked or did you actually play the game through?

The game imo is almost as good as Colors, which is one of my favourite games ever.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that the game is as good as colors but it's definitely a good game! It's not as bad as they say, that's for sure!

That's more than I was expecting but my expectations were very low.

Given how many other shocking performances we had in 2013, a mild victory for Sonic I guess!

not to mention these are 3ds AND Wii U versions combined. That aint good no matter how one wants to spin it.
