Forums - Sony Discussion - The PS4 In-Stock Thread

Good to see that PS4s are now in-stock in many shops around the world (US, UK, Spain)

But still not in some European countries though (Germany and France for instance where the thirst is still real).

Readily available at both Gamestops in the Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah, GA. They even have thee "Now in stock" sign on them that were on Xbox Ones (which, at the time meant they were desperate to sell Xbox Ones, according to some users).

It's tempting to buy one along with Tomb Raider since the price is so low but I'll hold off. The initial feeling of "Must buy now!" has subsided for both consoles for me. Still, if anybody is interested, they're available. I'll likely go to several stores in Savannah today. My female companion for today is like a shop-a-holic. Hope I don't feel the urge to hang myself.

yea, supply is starting to finally catch up with demand. When I got mine,I started seeing them around more frequently.

D2lewis, you have a picture of one Ps4.

Which is why it says "the LONE PS4" in my caption, Captain Obvious.

Im more interested at the consoles in the store than empty boxes out of it. The point you were making was about the consoles

When Gamestop starts letting customers go in the back and take pics, I'll do it.  I assume there was at least one console per store, though.  The signs do say "In stock" but they're probably just saying empty boxes are in stock.  Who knows? Or you could just call them.

It's actually a good thing if supply reaches demand. The PS4 has been hard to get a hold of for two and a half months. That's pretty impressive. Most other consoles of the past (aside from the Wii and PS2) have been readily available for purchase within a month. PS4 isn't doing too shabby.  Still holds the title of best launch ever.

Dont they usually have a small stack behind the register so they don have to always go to the back? Read the OP, read my first post in here. There is no reason for me to call. I just wanted the money shots like you seemed youd have. Empty boxes = the softcore stuff

Not any of the Gamestops I've ever been to.  The only time I've seen them do that is when people pick up pre-orders and we're well passed that stage.  They just have accessories like controllers, memory cards, headphones and certain games behind the counter.  Consoles and more games always seem to come from the back.  Even the used consoles are just empty boxes on the floor.  I have no way of getting pics of consoles.  Even those Xbox One consoles in one of my pics are just empty boxes.  Hell, every game case on the shelf is even empty.

I did see them let some kid go in the back to see some new Skylander but I don't think they'd let me do that.  Also I leave town for work in the morning (damn these business trips.) and won't be home or have access to my own car until Friday.  Even if they would, I can't.

*edit* and heck, I was pretty ashamed to take the pics I took.  I'm a grown man!

You could put your smartphone in your back pocket and film the console area with your ass cam ;)

D2lewis, dont you have a badge or am I mistaken you for someone else from a long time ago? If I'm not mistaken then just run in there with you gun drawn and badge out and yell, "which way did he go?" then run into the back and start taking pictures. Just tell them its evidence

LMAO! I do still have my badge.....but I quit being a cop back in 2009-2010.  Which reminds me--I got my first speeding ticket EVER yesterday.  Fuck da police!  I didn't even want to go out.  I just got home on Friday and I wanted to spend at least one day a week at home AND I had a headache.  Now I have a ticket for going 62mph in a 45mph zone.  Damn cops.  Ruined my whole day.

And I didn't even get laid.
