Life is to short to hold petty grudges and of course the awesome games. Better accept the fact not everybody thinks like you. It's a big world with different people with different opinions best to accept it instead of scratching you're head no offense. No one here bothers to ask why the Europeans prefer Sony. Well maybe some do but I for one could care less.

Americans are competitive gaming and respond to competitive marketing that allows them to go head to head. That and they have all the muliplat games. The dude bros who play Madden know to go to the Xbox for the fantasy football as well. Microsoft knows that you need to have the third party edge to win over people. Fifa fans will have a hard time deciding whether they want a PS4 as well with all the exclusive content on the Xbox One version opposed to the PS4.

Halo

..and now Gears Of War.

Sony doesn't have an exclusive franchise that can do crazy numbers in America. The best they can do is like 3 mill right now

It's Halo.. and now Gears is included

They now have 2 American monsters and Sony has none

Because it has the games they want? Wii dominated last gen and PS2 the gen before, North America doesn't have brand loyalty.

Have you ever heard anyone say they bought a Xbox because its an American system? I bet many people don't even know Sony is a Japanese company.

Many people found Xbox appealing when PS3 was very expensive. That lead to more people buying Xbox, which lead people to buy what their friends and family had, etc.

Lets bear in mind the 360 hasn't just performed great in America, it has performed better in every region compared to its predecessor.

Also, Xbox has the better games! But that's just my opinion ofcourse.
