Forums - General Discussion - Are we in a dictatorship? Yes we are

I have just forfeit any intention of complaining about my bans or the liberty others have to make much more confusion than I have ever dreamed or dared (because I don't like confusion, but you may think otherwise if you wish).

But this post have set the tone of what really are the rules of the community.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6002146

I am a dicatator, this is my site. It isn't a democracy. I set the rules.

You are flaming Xbox - you have been in hundreds of posts now as have others that you have mentioned and that I have noted previously. It is tiresome and is adding nothing to the discussion on this site.

Greenberg said that "sold is the correct terminology" WHICH IT IS. That is a FACT. Microsoft SOLD 3.9m units to their customers - Gamestop, Walmart and so on. He is correcting the guy who is saying that he should use the word SHIPPED by saying "actually you are wrong - SOLD is the correct word which is why we have used it" and he is right. There is no dispute. Read Sony's financial report and they will also use the world SOLD. Just because some people don't understand the situation it doesn't mean that it is not right.

Not once did Greenberg suggest that Microsoft sold 3.9m units to consumers.

So I hope everybody stop to complain about bias, because that will depend on the rules of the day.

And before you start to complain, I said that it was looking like a dictatorship, and the own person assumed, so I'm not doing a personal attack or anything like that... just making clear what happened.

And I don't care if you don't like me because I'm a Sony fan and won't deny it like some that say are neutral while championing one or other console. But unless you are pro-dictatorship them I can't see what reason you would have to support this kind of behavior.

Is it wrong? I mean it is ioi's site. Unlike a country it's super easy to leave if he does a bad job.

At least it isn't a country =] mine is almost becoming like one of those countries.

But I do like the site and think it's a great project... but anyway don't think his posture is good... even on a company you may be the owner, and your will may be almost gospel, but even there would exist some limits and wouldn't be dictatorship. anyway, I have already vented and seems like most didn't even looked the thread, so nothing to see here.

Brett owns it, Brett can do as he pleases. If he sees someone acting like that then he has every right to call them out on it.

Kudos to him, its been long overdue.

So VGChartz is a dictatorship, just like every other forum on the net. Good to know.

You really like to stir shit, right?

Keep at it, you won't last long. And you'll have more than deserved it.
