Mario did push the WiiU. It sold the most its ever has last december.

This game looks amazing, but I'm concerned about the length of the game because it has 6 worlds, while donkey kong country returns had 8 (9 if you played the 3ds version). I'm still probably gonna get it but hopefully they have some extra worlds they're hiding or something.
Also, if you're playing single player do you have to be DK still like in Returns? I want to play as Diddy but it looks like i won't be able to from what I've seen.

The last game was my favourite wii title so can't wait for this. I'm sure it'll be big-ish but dunno if it'll push systems. I guess the more exclusive quality games the better though.

There are now 3 secret levels per world instead of one.
I don't see how a slightly more powerful version of the Wii one is gone to push sales of the Wii U...

Cool, I didn't know that. Do you know how they are going to be unlocked? Returns had 2 secret levels per world, one unlocked by buying the key at cranky's shop and the other unlocked by collecting all the kong letters.
