I know what you mean. I like Nintendo but when you believe that the WiiU will make a turnaround like the 3DS and the PS3 and go around saying you'll see Mario/Pikmin/W101/ SM3DW are going to increase sales and put it to #1 spot, it iritates me.It makes it worse when people say it will sell like the Wii. We've accepted the Vita is a bad selling handheld and the situation is not likely to improve so why is it so hard to admit the Wii U won't do as well as the Wii?

Iwata has stated that change is coming... hope he follows through with that. That said, Its a little late for the Wii U to pull the Wii's numbers. I just hate that NIntendo fans act like nothing is wrong. Sony's irritate me more because if you say anything negative about Sony, you get barraged with nonsensical posts.

I think he'll do it. After Nintendo repeating the same mistake 3 times, they know they need to change. It'll probably be great until they f**k up again.

Basically. Like how Nintendo fans are an ass to Sony fan for the 3DS destroying the Vita and Sony fans to Nintendo fans for the PS4 destroying Wii U sales (aligned)

MS' money means very little for the XB division. Investors dont like pointless spending and they have already spent a billion. 400m on exclusive rights to be called the official football console and an app. Really?

With a tablet free WiiU they could seriously undercut the other consoles in price.


they are making more per console even though they expect a FY loss and they have a strong performance from a profitable 3DS? how can you say that?

It's people like you that would have cost us WWII. Don't give up the fight, Nintendo/Microsoft guys. Down with Sony and the Fourth Reich!

Really, it comes down to the fun you have when you're all alone in your room with your console, not some console. Me? I have a lot of fun with my Wii U and my SugarDVD subscription. Sony's gonna win this thing but nothing is gonna stop me from having fun with my Wii.

 I still believe the Wii U's sales will improve once we have MK8, SSB4, Zelda U and so on.. Like I said 3D World alone wasn't going to improve sales dramatically.

That's called being rational, do not try to defend or accept anything a company is putting out there because you loved what they used to do... 

Defending would be acceptable, but people go as far as making stuff up to make their 'case'

Something is wrong with Nintendo fanboys. They're grown men (Kids too) defending the Wii U by repeating the same things like "Look at 3DS! Wii U will have a huge turn around!" It's annoying. I wish they would except that Wii U is most likely going to be another N64/GameCube. Instead, they said "Wait until E3!" and then "Wait until Pikmin 3!" then "Wait until TW101!" then "Wait until Wind Waker HD!" then "Wait until 3D World/Holiday 2013!" and currently "This years line-up will make the Wii U sell like hotcakes!".

Even if Wii U does double of what 2013 did, (6.2 million sales for 2014) the total sales would only be at 11.5 million. I should also mention that the Wii U would be 2 years old then, and only have that install base. The PS4 (And maybe Xbox One) are very likely to reach 11.5 million in their first year. It's doing so bad, it hasn't even sold 3 million this fiscal year yet...

Either way, I still think Wii U is awesome.

One more thing, they let Nintendo get away with anything. Little online support, they say It's okay for Nintendo to not resurrect dead series that sold well, (Starfox and F-Zero mostly) etc.

 

Microsoft

I don't understand why some of these guys think Xbox One will do so great this year. It's $500, has less exclusives, and has the same multiplats as PS4, which is more popular, $400, has more exclusives, more indie support, and the same multiplats. The only way I could see the Xbox One selling great is if it gets a price cut to $400, and has about as much great exclusives as the Wii U will this year (In the same ballpark, like one or two less)

Also... WHY THE F**K DID YOU SUPPORT THAT BULLSH*T ON THE XBOX ONE BEFORE THEY CHANGED IT?!?!?!?!?!?

if you are into $4 indie games and a bunch of free 2 play games that released on PC 2-3 years ago, the PS4 lineup is good. If this is not your type of game, then it sucks for the first 1.5 years after release.

You say Sony as more exclusives. However, they keep putting them back. With Sonys track record of hitting dates, I expect half of the titles that they say is 2014 to be 2015 even 2016. We wont see Naughty Dog in 2014. Driveclub has had another delay and The order 1886 I suspect will also get delayed to 2015. Of course I may be wrong, but I think Sony will get destroyed on Exclusives this year. I don't think they have an answer for Kinect Sports Rivals, Halo 5, Quantum Break and Titanfall. The 4 big sellers. The rest is we shall see.
