Sadly, I agree with him. As much as people hate the whole online thing. It is clearly the future. Only thing is they are trying to take giant leaps instead of taking baby steps...then again giant leaps are sometimes necessary.

Microsoft have this year been really good on PR.

They have commeneded Sony all year. Even after their launch. And hes right. The online hate is really bad now. It was much better when in the Nes and Snes days you had to do it face to face as there were no online and no mods. These days Id love to meet the people who swear and moan online at you. They wouldn't do it then would they.

Anyways. Im staying out of any thread which says Sony in it. I have no interest in them or talking about them. So that way I wont ever comment on anything remotely Sony.

One of the best comments ive seen in a while. not only the headline but everything he said.

The gaming community on the internet is very venomous and i couldnt imagine what the devs have to put up with but I do know when im playing with my friends online im just having fun. Fun is the whole reason for gaming after all :)

Anyways, congrats to Sony and Microsoft on their launches. Been fantastic so far. Personally ive played my XBO a lot. Killer instinct 70 hours so far, another 25 on Forza 5, prob 10 on ryse, 11 on Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, who knows how many in BF4. And well i didnt really like spartan assault but yeah. No im waiting for TitanFall, Plantz vs Zombies, and Thief.

When he refers to the "online hate", I'm positive he's talking about people mocking the XBone in forums, blogs, etc. not the Cloud.

OT: Man, MS is really been eating some giant pieces of humble pie lately. Remember when (despite being outsold worldwide) they would brag about how much they sold from NPD numbers (as if America ≥ World), and how much better they were than the competition, and this, that and the other? It's precious to see the damage control. Instead of admitting to selling significantly less than the direct competitor (which is smart, I guess, seeing how damaged their image was after revealing the XBone) they say "we'll both sell a lot".
