Forums - Sales Discussion - Xbox One outsells PS4 at Target despite being $100 more?

Between now and new year, sales come purely down to how much was supplied. The real race will begin closer towards march

I actually expect the Xbone to be leading in North America for most of this gen. Americans just seem to like Xbox more than PlayStation, whereas Europe tends to be much more PlayStation oriented.

because Sony has very little stock right now?? People jumping the gun on this big time. PS4 outsold x1 at gamestop, lets wait and see.

Considering that both were sold out most of the day, and they are still sold-out (Only one $700 Xbox Bundle is available). Can´t say if that information was as significant as any other we have.

The Target pool is not a good indicator either. It´s just a marginal figure with huge estatistical discrepancy.

Could this mean Microsoft outship sony in black Friday?

This is just a survey so it's kind of just irrelevant anecdotal evidence like any Target thread Max makes about PS4's selling much more at his local store lol. Fucking iPads though.

And I see people clutching to this logic that PS4 sales could have been higher but Sony "forced" retailers to hold stock until Black Friday... that's a retailer decision, and Walmart made the same one. They held back both for Black Friday.

I think everybody at this point gets the fact that sony just couldn't get enough ps4 to NA, it doesnt mean it is in less demand it just means they had to send them to europe.

Ms will probably be back on top in NA when vgchartz puts out its numbers but once sone can get some mire ps4 out here they will probably flip flop back and forth for a long time.

No excuses needed, we don't even know the numbers, and sony most likely has low stock. They still have sold more in the US...what excuses?

Logical thinking and facts is an excuse?? Ok. Sony just shipped a tonne to europe and already sold mroe then MS in thre US, it is pretty obvious they already shipped more stoick and are stock constrained. Sounds like you are deflecting.
