Can I please just say something? I mean seriously? Can I say something? Would everyone please give me an opportunity to say something? I mean come on people, it won't take me that long to say what I've got to say. Can somebody please say "Let the man speak!" or is that too much to ask? I just want ya'll to know, no matter how many sales the Wii U has or doesn't have by the end of December 2027, that I feel hungry right now. Ok? Ok!

its silly comparison, cause the nes was the first and most advances home console, it had the market to it self, the nes controller was very advanced for its time, the supernes controller even more advanced, or would  guys rather nintendo kept nes controller for the super nes so the mainstream can feel at home, the nes is a traditional home console, the games were more advanced then anything before it. gaming is already mainstream anyway. now if you think about the ps2 and playstation they sold 250 million combined, so the market for traditional gaming was always there.

Nintendo needs to answer the question "why should I upgrade from my Wii to a Wii U. All they have so far are the same games in slightly better graphics and they can't stay competitive with the new systems.


Nintendo is the BIGGEST dawg.
For some reason people have a hard time admitting & recognizing this fact.
They are the BOSS of the Business. The videogame business as we know it today was designed by THEM.
That's why it continues to be shaped by THEM.

All Wii U needs is more games & that's it.
They don't need to change anything about the console.
Why should people upgrade from Wii to Wii U?
Because Wii U does everything Wii does & MORE.

Competitive? Hahahahahaha.
Horsepower doesn't make for competition.
The weakest system always wins.

I'm a Nintendo fan. Nobody doubts that, I'm sure.
But no one can deny the whomping the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive put on the SNES in the 4th generation.
SNES outsold the Genesis as Sega moved onto the 5th gen with the Sega Saturn.
Sort of like how PS3's now outselling the 360 in the extra innings of the 7th gen when originally it was behind.
As powerful as the Super Nintendo was to the Genesis, the race should not have even been close.
Yet it was.

I was there to witness it live as it happened.
And I love my Super Nintendo to this day.
But the Genesis rocked the SNES in the 4th gen. That is undeniable.
