Get my facts straight?
Seriously? Hows about you stop trying to "change the argument" to suit yourself.
You said those effects didn't exist back then with those games I listed, I provided *solid* technical proof in the form of imagry and an informative wikipedia link that says otherwise and yet you still think you're right.
At this point, if that's not going to admit you're wrong, then nothing will.

Also. It's not "Card Specific" it is brand specific and the game engine needs to support it (Well, Support N-Patches anyway) on top of it. - It also didn't have a single variation, ATI (Now AMD) did create Truform 2.0 and a variation of that ended up in the Xbox 360 console. (Used for Halo 3's water effects and also used in Viva Pinata.)
It was also available on the Radeon 8000 series, 9000 series, x700/x800 series, x19xx series etc'.

As for Volumetric Lighting, I'll prove you wrong tomorrow, when I can be bothered, I shall let My PC download the games from Steam overnight.

Tesselation werent part of the engine so my point stays. Have fun with that, because im going to say right now that all you are going to do is show pre-caluclated lighting and burnt textures.

Man next time just be humble. I'm even embarrassed for you. You got owned big time.

Which I have admitted so next time read the entire conversation before making a prat out of yourself.

the title of the thread is ''PS4 and XBONE are in for the same drought as WiiU''

all I'm is that I agree with this, most gamers got Ps4 and XboxONE the first 2 weeks or so, because they were waiting for the launch all along, launch numbers are high but they won't last

by launch, I mean mostly week 1, maybe week 2 as well, of course we have the holidays as well, so after the launch I mean after the holidays, which is were i believe Ps4 and XboxONE sales will be low, for many months or so

overall, I believe Ps4 and XboxONE will follow Ps3 and Xbox360 trends, and WiiU to follow 3DS trend

don't really remember Ps3 launch week sales, but I remember they were big in Europe, if I'm not mistaken

The thread is about game releases rather than sales.

And, like I told you, PS4 did what PS3 didn't (1M in the 1st week). How can you expect a poor performance after holidays from a console that is at half of the price of its predecessor?
