That's why I put it at a MAXIMUM.
If I was putting at a definite I would have said MINIMUM.

The language is as clear as day.
The phrases "headed toward" & "I believe" denote POSSIBILITY.
I never said it will DEFINITELY reach 50 million at the end of 2013.

You guys are not reading what I'm saying. You're putting down your own interpretations of my words.

You CAN have your laughs about my 12 million at end of 2013 call for Wii U because I put that down as a specific.
You CANNOT have your laughs at this call because it couldn't be wrong no matter how you looked at it.
It only speculated on the possibility of the top range.

This was a throwaway call that I put out to get some discussion going.
To get people to see a POSSIBILITY that 3DS could POSSIBLY touch 50 million at the max for the 2013 holiday season.
For extra fun I put in the thought of 'what if it goes beyond?'.

But after I saw you guys' reactions I could tell that you didn't even get the point of the post.
I kept saying to myself "Now watch these guys get themselves all worked up & not even realize that the all-capped word said MAXIMUM the whole time."
You're so out for blood that you're not even comprehending the title of the thread.
Just looking for any opportunity to pounce because Wii U didn't make my call for 12 million at end of 2013.

But that's just the thing.
The title of that UNITY thread is not "Wii U will sell 12 million worldwide by the end of 2013"
The title of that thread is "UNITY - Nintendo & Wii U Finish The REVOLUTION"
You all are not reading anything. Just reacting.
Just because my 12 million at end of 2013 call was wrong doesn't mean my thread is wrong.
That's a sub-prediction within my main prediction.

The sub-prediction for 2013 is wrong for Wii U but that doesn't mean my main prediction is wrong.
Just because it was slow getting to a milestone doesn't mean it's not gonna reach its destination.
And that's what's gonna be the most tasty for me as this generation goes on.
You all have immortalized your legacy on that thread.
All of the heckling & taunting is how you guys chose to represent yourselves.
