It’s been months since Microsoft released this Watch Dogs gameplay on their official Xbox YouTube channel, but thanks to some eagle eyed watchers, it has been revealed that Microsoft used PlayStation 4 footage of the game.

This isn’t a joke, and it’s kind of funny how people are catching on to this now. This news is starting to spread around the net at this moment. Check out the screenshot below.

One of the reasons why this is being caught by people now is the fact that you can only see the PlayStation control prompts for a split second. Microsoft attempted to cover up the symbols by blurring them out. You can see that screenshot below as well.

This isn’t the first time something like this happens out of Microsoft’s camp, but considering their rival in the gaming industry, it’s funny to see Microsoft attempt to hide the fact that they used PlayStation footage on their official channel. my guess would be ubisoft provided them with videos... and were just lazy.

not that MS shouldn't have checked for this. They should have and thats their job.

Wow that's kind of embarrassing. Either the footage was given to them from Ubisoft or they just recorded some footage off of a PS4 either way this could have been prevented with some proper editing seems like a lazy mistake by the PR/editing department or who ever is in charge of things like this.

They actually should have just never released the video if they knew it was being played on a PS4...

and that's proof of what? MS marketing team just screwed up, it's not really a big deal especially since they took it down.

The people at Microsoft definetely don't have a PS4. So they would have been provided it by Ubisoft...

They can just show the real Xbone version... ohhh wait.

This game better look a heck of alot better with the delay, not just look better but more features.
