Since we don't have an official, I gotta start a new thread. Gametrailers has a pretty nice video up.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Those graphics are the best of all launch titles. Reviewers are already saying its the most impressive next gen title out of the gate technically.

Also the game plays well. Cant wait. Day 1.

This game is all about the polished graphics and the slick PR. Reviews will be poor, sales mediocre.

The stark contrast in above two comments...Damn.

What do you think it will sell? I'd wager mediocre sales for a launch game is roughly 500-750k lifetime.

OT: I can't get over how brutally excellent those slow-mo kills are.

When I see it "on paper" like that, around 500K sounds logical. Such a number could probably make many people claim it's a good number for a launch game and I'm not sure myself, but surely it needs to be a million seller to be profitable (although the devs probably plan this is as an introduction to a whole series and count on making the profit on the sequels instead).

I'd say 1 million is a pretty safe bet to approach profitability for that game. Personally I think it will do quite well with between 1.5-2.5 million sales lifetime.

...I'd be a little surprised if it got to 500K, personally. I was thinking more in the 300-400 K range. But I guess time will tell.

O/T: Game looks fantastic from a graphical standpoint, and there probably isn't a single new IP I want to play less than it from a gameplay perspective.

Wow, 2 million would be an enormous success. Crytek and MS would be super happy. I almost hope that will happen, only because I love the concept and the ancient era so much.

Game looks amazing.
