also, if it is a multiplat, who would be the publisher? please not EA! i actually hope they start self publishing and slowly start to become publishers.

Edit: Also, i hope their next game is a new IP. just to make that clear

EPIC Games would be the publisher.  EPIC is like Bethesda and Rockstar.  Big, successful, and branches out.  Think People Can Fly being underneath EPIC.  ANd there next game is  new ip.  Fortnite

and it doesnt have to be exclusive, but if they do announce it at the PS event, then it certainly has the possibility to be.

Uh... because of an unconfirmed rumor? And judging how MS has been treating evelopers and their policies have been keeping developers away why would you assume Sony money hatted?

i hope that happens. Epic games are certainly a quality dev, if they start branching out and expanding it means more good games and more good games for everyone to play.

IGN podcast with Phil Spencer, out a few days ago, should be visable on the site still. Basically talked about how Epic and MS are putting Gears on the backburner for a bit, and if it comes back it'll likely be a "reboot"
