If resolution is such a big of a problem, go buy a high-end PC. Next-gen consoles won't be running anything higher than 900p after a few years(and that's already showing in launch games, since BF4 is running 900p on PS4)

Beyond fail. Even the crickets are rolling their eyes.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

so Wii U is really powerfull A lot of games @1080p |
Weeeeeeell... My comment was referring to next gen hardware, but if Wii-U wants to join the fun, that's fine too. Problem is Wii-U doesn't have problems running decade old titles and handheld ports in 1080p, but 1080p isn't exactly the standard for the more graphically demanding titles now is it? ;)

WIi U IS next gen. Two screens at same time, one in Full HD, other in 480p. No lag. Looks next-gen enough to me . And no Wii U does not have problem to run old titles

Nothing is wrong with 720p... If you're playing on a console that came out 7 years ago. The problem isn't that 720p is somehow bad, it's that this is supposed to be a next gen console and 720p is current gen standards. People shouldn't be expected to spend $500 on a product that is evidently only somewhat better than the product they already own, especially when said product's competition is actually a huge leap ahead and cheaper at that. |
A lot of games this gen didn't even hit native 720. They were just upscaled.
Should we really be surprised these consoles can't hit native 1080 with launch titles? Not really...

Let's ignore that the vast majority of PS4 games natively run at 1080p... |
The majority of XB One games announced will also run at 1080p. Hell, many Wii U games natively run in 1080p. Still, seeing how this gen turned out(720p+4xMSAA and even 1080p launch games vs. 600p and even some 544p games late in the gen), do you really believe 1080p will be standard? 900p/720p launch games are already showing how things will turn out in the end.

Reported for going off-topic. Not sure what Beyond has to do with this. |

This post is making me question why the caps lock button is not in all capital letters.

I honestly do not know why everyone is freaking out. It simply seems that the Xbone (like the Wii U at launch) is just not properly optimized at this point. To put it simply, it's a shit launch in terms of having the hardware ready and M$ obviously rushed. I would say by the Spring latest, they will have the issue resolved and games will start having 1080p resolution with a higher frame rate.
