with the recent release of mario kart 8 have been sold through do you think hw is under tracked here,
or do you think the rest is digital XD?

I think you mean July 3rd. Though the only other Wii U game I can think of is  Guacamelee coming July 2. I'm thinking the Wii U is going to be filled with eShop games this summer.

The 3DS eShop is also getting Glory of Generals and Squids Odyssey (also on Wii U in Europe).

Other games coming in July include, Tengami, Pier Solar, Infinity Runner and i believe Oddworld. There are probably other games but I haven't seen confirmation of them

Wow, surprised Dragon Quest X is doing that well digitally.

So I stumbled upon this today, and I didn't see it posted in this thread, or anywhere on this site for that matter. I dunno about you, but it got me pretty excited. It's an article about Mario Maker, updated with an interview from the director that gives some really interesting details. The first link is the article, scroll down a ways for the interview. In case you don't feel like clicking and reading, here's some highlights:

-Mario Maker absolutely WILL have more than just the 8-bit and modern styles. Even non-Mario styles might be an option, though it would always be 2D platformers, so no top down Zelda, obviously.
-The enemies and features shown in the E3 demo are only the beginning.
-Mario Paint is an inspiration for the game, and Mario Paint types of features are hoped to be implemented.
-Yes, that means they're hoping to make a music editor like in Mario Paint.
-Anyone worried that sharing levels would be difficult can rest easy, as they feel the entire point of the game is to share levels with your friends.

The date says this was shortly after E3, but I haven't seen anyone else talk about this. If this is old news though, lemme know. I'll be sad though.

Nintendo teasing secret Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS character in World Hobby Fair flyer?

smash-bros-world-hobby Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is making its playable debut in Japan this weekend. The game is appearing at the World Hobby Fair, which ends tomorrow.

One attendee picked up the flyer above that seems to hint at another secret character in Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS. Notice the question mark next to the Mii fighter on the top right.

With the World Hobby Fair ending tomorrow, could we be getting another character reveal? If nothing else, it could be a sign that someone new will be confirmed in the somewhat near future.

Only one more character? Hmm...

There are so many candidates to be that fighter... from old characters to new Nintendo ones (like Shulk) or third party ones, like Bayonetta (if she fits the thrid party category).

But is nice to know that they still have surprises.
