Now, i have no idea how big is the theatre there. It could be something big, medium size or small. So, it could be anything, really.
Personally, i think that if there's another tournament it will be on the Nokia theatre. This seems to be something different.

Going to LA. Convention Center's site doesn't help much. I've found this picture

And going to Meeting Places to check the specs of the different Halls, they mention a lot of theatres that go from 100 to 2,700 atendees (I guess).

I guess we'll have to wait and see what they have in mind.

Please excuse my bad English.

Those are some pretty fine deals for the Wii U infact. There wasn't any good offers here in the UK today sadly; but with Smash hopefully sales will be strong.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I searched a bit aswell and i found something interesting.

There is in fact a meeting room called theatre. It's room 411 (http://lacclink.s3.amazonaws.com/doc/MEETING-ROOMS-ALL.pdf)
I dug a little deeper and found out it's called a "Animation Theatre" (http://www.siggraph.org/s2004/conference/) and according to an article it seems to be a room to screen animation pictures.

My assumption that theatre will indeed be that room labeled as such and that there are no other theatres in other meeting rooms, might be a stretch, because if it isn't, Nintendo might have something really special planned for next year!

My first detective work. Yay! :D

Those are some pretty nice deals! Hopefully Nintendo can move a decent amount of HW/SW this holiday, they could sure use a boost! :)

Good work, detective.

But now I think that maybe we're fooling ourselves. It's a theatre, right? A place to show movies. And who made short films about Pikmins? Could they just use that theatre to play those movies open to all E3 attendees?

Thanks!

It could be that aswell. But assuming things is more entertaining! :D
Seriously now, it could really be Pikmin, but at the same time, after more than 6 months of making it available, why rent a space to show it off? I still think it's for something new.
