Farewell. I don't agree much with you as of late, but I can't disagree with your assessment of the forum. The discussion isn't what it used to be and the accuracy of the sales numbers has taken a similar turn for the worse.

My friends was never very big, but it just keeps getting smaller and smaller here.

I agree on pretty much everything you stated and even wonder how ridiculous things will get even after the consoles are released and accurate sales numbers aren't volunteered by the console manufacturers and even then may be disregarded if they don't align with what fanboys feel they should be.

I've thought many times about doing the same. It started with Neogaf (my account tagline got altered by a admin or mod in an attempt to humiliate me for something minor and I haven't had success it getting it removed) and now here, gaming forums are just no place for balanced and constructive discussions anymore. It's sad.

Regardless, you will be missed and I know that you'll find more fulfillment in your other endeavors than this community could ever give. Congratulations and take care.

Its true that the numbers are way less than it used to be, I still remember the top 200 for every area with numbers instead of a Pro barrier that we have and also I loved the graphs the site had but everything changes and even though this site changed to my opinion the worst I still visit the site from time to time but nowhere near close to what I used to do in the 2008-2010 days and pretty much the majority of my friends on the site have left I still come and see whats new even if I dont post and we cant add games to the database, add games to our library or have ioi appears frequently like he used to do I will still have fond memories of the site sine it was my first english forum experience
