Yep and based on those numbers Pokemon will sell extremely well

Yeps, and still manage to follow a downwards trend.

Once again ur argument is based of off nothing.

New gens (Ruby/Sapphire, Diamond/Pearl, Black/White) have sold 15-18 million

Updated editions (Emerald, Platinum, Black 2/White 2) have sold 6-8 million

Remakes (FireRed/LeafGreen, HeartGold/SoulSilver) have sold 10-12 million

maybe its not declining anymore and has reached the point where it sells rather consistantly, have u thought about that?

Well, it cannot be selling consistently if sales are down from B&W.

What the hell are u talking about? Since when have first week sales determined overall sales? U do realize B/W had a better opening than D/P yet its lifetime sales are less?

Nothing u say makes a single bit of sense, if u want to have an intelligent conversation then maybe u should do a little more research and look at past trends before making arguments.

You'll never learn, will you? Were you also one of those people who thought Pokemon will outsell GTAV?

Not sure if anyone else has posted this, but Eurogamer now have a similar article up:

WiiU has the best library of games from all next generation systems (ps4, xboxone) i hope it do good numbers this holiday

Sure... because none of the other systems have been released yet.

Also, looks like Wii Party U isn't doing so crash hot on amazon on release.

i forgot amazon was the sole place to buy new games

I'm sure you understand the simple concept of a sample :)

you need more then one to be a meaningful sample lol. And it needs to be random.

No global account system;
No trophies;
No 250GB+ HDD SKU;
No gamepad-less bundle (I want a pro controller only FFS I'm a pro, not a casual and I don't want that toy looking tablet).

So it's not stealing my xmas yet. Fix that shit up Nintendo, last home console of yours I owned was the Super NES.

so what were your issues with N64 and Gamecube when they where pretty much the same as the competition "hardcore" and not casual.

All i smell here is nothing but BS excuses.

Why is it so hard to admit (for some people) that the WiiU will have the most (and probably best) exclusives this holiday season ?

We are talking about a full years worth of exclusives vs. the first baby steps of the other Next Gen consoles.

The PS4/Box will likely have a great library one year after release as well, with great exclusives left and right.

But this holiday season ? The WiiU wins

Super Mario 3D World. What else does the WiiU have?

the entire line up of WiiU exclusives vs. the launch titles for X1 and PS4

Don't see it personally. Sure Wii-u looks a better proposition than it did a few months back, especially after the price cut and bundling of games… but I think it only appeals to Nintendo users, and I don't think that will outweigh sales on Ps3/Xbox.

But are people really going to rush out an buy a Wii-u *now* for the games that have come out earlier in the year… I just don't see it.

So my thoughts on Sales this year (from Console Launches - Worldwide)

PS4
XboxOne
Ps3
Xbox360
Wii-u
