I'm doing the same with my brother. Having a sibling who also likes Pokemon is so convenient :p.

You certainly were right about old Pokemon fans getting back into it with XY. A lot of my friends that only played older generations are excited for XY. I think that XY will comfortably pass BW's sales.

yeaaaa! I did a survey, i wanted 100 people but ended up with 87! Out of 87 people 75 were from tis forum... I came up with this...

32⇒ Played the last 2 Gens (both)

29⇒ Played BW or BW2

44⇒ Played D/P~Platinum~HG/SS but not BW or BW2

73⇒ Playing XY

18⇒ Playing XY which skipped  Gens 3-5 (practically old timers lol)

Yea this game will be awesome. Nintendo needs to push 2DS. If they do and target the kids back (they got all of us true gamers over age 18 that played originals!) then this game can ddo 20mil+ imo

Damit! I preordered X but Heracross and Tryranatar are both so much better than Pinsir and Agron. Could'nt care less about the other exclusives altho I also prefer MewtwoY over X...

Now the only advantage of X for me is that I prefer Xerneas over Yveltal... I hope those new exclusif pokémons that I don't know will be in X's favor.

Also Xerneas exclusif to X and Yveltal exclusif to Y? I thought It would be like Gold/Silver where in gold you get Hoh Oh mid game and Luigia late game and vice versa for Silver. Same thing was for Ruby/Saphire where if I remember corectly in saphire you get Kyogre mid game and Groudon late game. I have'nt played a pokémon since gen 3.

I'm getting both versions, so I'm going to be getting all three starters (starting on X with Fennekin, then on Y with Froakie, trading to X, then restarting on Y with Chespin and sending that to X too. Then rocking out X for a while).

Thinking of doing using more than one starter as well. Fennekin and Froakie are both amazing (and I do love both their final evos as well).

Can't wait to get my hands on this game tomorrow!~ ^_^

It will be a Saturday too, so I'll probably play it all day.
