WOW, doom articles already. Just because it doesn't fly off the shelves the first day, people are already ready to say PS Vita is a fail. Goddammit, you people just won't stop.

It's basically a budget model but at the same price.  The only real positive is the built in memory, though it's that's not much of an upgrade.  Many people, myself included, would rather have the older model.  This is basically a move by Sony to cut production costs.  The effect was always going to be minimal.  Only a big piece of software is going to move enough units to matter.

Except the PSP sold very well.

PS Vita TV will do much much better, I personally believe if it failed then it would be a huge blow to vita...not the 2000. The 2000 is an inferior model, that doesn't cost less (price is confusing because some places it is less and other not), the lcd has been shown off as bland and not high quality. I mean have you seen the 2000 up close or in videos and stuff...the advertisements make it look nice, but every video I've seen of it makes it look really ugly and cheap in comparison to original. Some people may really want the new colors, but I think it just makes the original vita look really good.

I don't know why people are like "poor vita" on here. Since this article is based off Amazon, Amazon right now looks very vita loving with the top console the FFX vita and most of the front page is vita related.

I think he means current psp numbers.

Not expecting huge numbers but 20-25k should be doable. If you thought you'd see gigantuar lines then you set yourself up for disappointment.
