25% is still a lot.

25% is a lot but where is it showing?  all i see is people comparing stuff with particles.   can you compare the per pixel count of particles to the per pixel count of 1000 zombies in dr3 being destroyed with the fire and blood particles of that roller hog.

dr3 is by far the most impressive display of a whole lot of sh!t happening on screen at once. ijs

You are expecting a huge difference to appear in launch titles? :P The sample size is faaar too small to be able to judge yet. Right now the difference could be explained by too many variables that we don't know (budget, development time, size of development team etc). Until we have a larger pool of samples these variables make comparing them very difficult.

Don't let ethomaz read his, he will again shit again RLB

usain bolt is 25% faster than most racers.  wasnt that his 1st olympics that he showed he was 25% faster.  not a great analogy but what im saying they are both starting out at 0 if one is 1000x greater it should show now.  maybe its because infamous and killzone arent that great.  maybe the order can show it but remedy has a counter for that.

Trying to compare the two consoles right now is like trying to compare two runner but not knowing if one of them is on drugs (drugs being the unknown variable). While 25% is lot, in the short term it can easily be countered by many things we don't about (such as the things i mentioned before). Having a larger sample size reduces the impact of these variables.

Surely that's not difficult for you to understand? It's just common sense P: To go along with the running example again; you don't compare two runners on 1 or 2 races, you compare them on as many as possible. The larger the sample size, the more accurate the result.

if the first race makes one world champion or olympic champion eh

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Wow.... dupe thread and flaimbait

Why are you drawing a conclusion about a comparison between a Radeon 7850 and a 2GB Radeon 7870 XT?

Actually, why are you drawing a conclusion from a handful of launch titles that haven't even released yet?

Are you honestly expecting either system to be pushed right from the start?

Considering the thread title, opening post and replies from the OP. It seems this thread was created as pure flamebait so I'm locking it.
