My Rain prediction was off. I was optimistic about that one. I feel like I'll be closer with my Beyond prediction though.

You reckon? I feel like that has been happening the last few years. Still I didn't do much research on Rain and when everyone else seems to think it's mid 80's it's hard to think it'll fall far from that.

Yeah, i followed the hype and banked on reviewers' tendencies to drool over "edgy" indie stuff like this, as most of us did apparently. For all franchise installments, my reviews are based on a tweak of the scores that the last game(s) in the franchise got, revised upwards or downwards a few points based on hype. New IPs come from gut feeling combined with how the media's received it so far.
