Very misleading thread title nowgamer. You can't put forced camera anti-consumer in quotes if they never said that word for word. Plus anti-consumer does not equal "against consumer choice."

it all depends on how you look at it ms is giving the choice to use every feature out of the box while sony is giving you the choice if you want to use every feature by buying it separate

Because people want the Xbox but not the kinect.  It kind of goes back to always online.  Some people dont want to play online.  thats not there thing.  its anti consumer to bundle your product in a way to forces these people to either pay for something they dont want, or they can simply not buy.   Giving options is always great for the consumer, and is the way to make your user base happy.   more options means less profit but sometimes it helps sell more when people can choose exactly what they want.
